Lean steak bowl

Ingredients:

  • 6 oz grilled lean steak (sirloin or flank)

  • 1/2 cup cooked jasmine rice

  • 1/2 cup sautéed broccoli

  • 1/4 cup roasted sweet potatoes

  • 1 tbsp coconut aminos

  • 1 tsp sesame oil


Method:

  1. Season Steak: Rub the steak with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.

  2. Cook Steak: Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust for your desired doneness). Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  3. Prepare Bowl: In two bowls, divide the cooked rice or carb base, steamed broccoli, and roasted sweet potato cubes.

  4. Add Steak: Slice the steak thinly against the grain and place it over the vegetables.

  5. Top and Serve: Add avocado slices and drizzle with tahini dressing if desired. Serve immediately.
