Basil Cashew Cream Sauce



Ingredients (serves 1)

  • 1 cup cashews, soaked

  • Fresh basil (generous amount)

  • 2 heaping tbsp Fage lactose-free yogurt

  • 1 tsp sea salt

  • Hot water (as needed)

  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast


Method

  • Soak cashews (4+ hours cold or 15 mins hot water).

  • Drain cashews and blend with basil, yogurt, salt, and yeast.

  • Add hot water as needed to adjust consistency.

  • Blend until smooth and adjust seasoning.

  • Use as a dip, spread, or sauce. Refrigerate if not using immediately.
