Chicken Schwarma salad bowl

Ingredients:
8 oz chicken breast dicedÂ
1 tbsp olive oilÂ
1 tsp paprikaÂ
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp turmericÂ
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepperÂ
Salt and pepper to tasteÂ
4 cups mixed greensÂ
1/2 cup cucumber diced
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved
1/4 cup red onion, thinly slicedÂ
1/4 avocado, sliced
1/4 cup hummus (optional)Â
Lemon wedges for garnish
2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Method:
Prepare Chicken Marinade: In a bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, cumin, turmeric, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
Coat Chicken: Add the diced chicken to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are evenly coated. Let it marinate for 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the fridge).
Cook Chicken: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked and browned. Set aside to cool slightly.
Assemble Salad: In two bowls, layer the mixed greens, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and avocado.
Top with Chicken: Divide the cooked chicken evenly between the two bowls.
Add Hummus and Lemon: Add a dollop of hummus to each bowl and serve with a lemon wedge for garnish.
