Chocolate Tart Protein Bars

Ingredients

  • 4 dates

  • 1/4 cup ground flax meal

  • 1/2 cup pecans

  • 1 scoop PROTEA Vegan Vanilla Protein (or other plant-based protein)

  • 1/4 cup pecan cashew raw nut butter

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1/4 cup golden berries

  • 1 bananas


Optional Chococolate Topping

  • 4 dates

  • 1/4 cup ground flax meal

  • 1/2 cup pecans

  • 1 scoop PROTEA Vegan Protein

Method:

  • Mixed in a food processor, put into parchment lined dish, and press using

fingers and spoon to smoothen and disperse evenly. Pour melted chocolate

over the top and place in the fridge for 1 hour before slicing and enjoying.

Tip:

  • These are great for meal prep and keep well in the freezer!


Notes

  • I used a 10.5"x7.5" dish—- stretch your creative spirit on these. Nut butters, dried

fruit, and nuts can be swapped out for the types you desire
