1 pound Chicken, sliced into tenders
1 tbsp Garlic powder
1 tbsp Onion powder
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Italian seasoning
3 tbsp olive oil
1/3 cup Almond flour (or any gluten-free flour)
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions for Air Fryer
Prepare the Chicken: Slice the chicken into tender sizes. Pat dry with paper towels.
Season the Chicken: In a large bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add chicken tenders, drizzle with olive oil, and toss for an even coating.
Coat with Flour: Sprinkle almond flour over chicken tenders, tossing to coat evenly.
Cook in Air Fryer: Place chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 10 minutes.
Flip and Crisp: Flip the tenders and continue to air fry for an additional 5 minutes, or until crispy and golden.
Check for Doneness: Ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Directions for Oven
Prepare and Season Chicken: Follow the same steps as above for preparing and seasoning the chicken tenders.
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Prepare Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Arrange Chicken Tenders: Place the coated chicken tenders on the baking sheet. Ensure they are not touching for even cooking.
Bake in Oven: Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
Flip and Finish Baking: Flip each chicken tender and return to the oven for another 5-10 minutes, or until they are crispy and fully cooked.
Check for Doneness: Ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F.
